Customize the homepage to show products and promotions relevant to the visitor's local season

Hypothesis:

Tailoring homepage content to reflect visitors' local seasonality will create a more intuitive and resonant user interface, fostering deeper engagement and encouraging a more fluid progression through the purchase funnel.

Experience Assumptions:

  1. Contextual Relevance: Users experience cognitive ease when presented with content that fits their immediate environmental context, potentially reducing the decision-making time.

  2. Behavioral Adaptation: Seasonal changes inherently alter consumer behavior and preferences, and a homepage reflecting these changes is likely to increase relevance and user satisfaction.

  3. Engagement Metrics: By presenting seasonally relevant content, users are expected to interact more with the site, potentially improving metrics such as bounce rate, average session duration, and pages per session.

  4. Conversion Pathway: A user's journey from homepage visit to purchase is hypothesized to be more efficient when the content aligns with seasonal needs, streamlining the pathway to conversion.

Setting up the experience on Visually

1. Click on Create a New Experience.

2. Access the editor on the left side and choose the position of the Timer widget.

3. Click on Sale Boosters widget's collection.

4. Click on Timer.

5. Customize the Timer widget to match your brand's look and feel.

6. Once you are ready, click on Apply.

7. Click on the 
Update button.

8. Set the change targeting to the page you'd like the timer to show up, and on the Pages section as well.

9.  Preview the experience, and you can test it!

Group 16 Following these steps, you can increase the Conversion Rate by showcasing cart items for returning visitors, with a potential uplift of 2% to 10% for this specific audience.
